happy friday everyone. tried to drive the truck in and it wouldn't budge when i put it in gear. pretty sure i'm just low on fluid, but i didn't have any. what a bummer. i'm not sure why it's using transmission fluid. i don't have any on my driveway. maybe it's leaking while i drive it?

Today is one of those rare days when my weekly to-do list is done & I actually get to work on stuff that I want to do! Just checking a couple of refernces today for a couple of potential new-hires & doing some IH monitor maintenance. Maybe clean the desk!

Hopefully, it is something easy, Steve. Seems odd to me that you can't see a leak. How many miles are on it?

 

hi jason. about 100 since it's been rebuilt. it's a pretty old c4.

 

i'll put some more fluid in it and see what's up. if it keeps eating it, i'll contact the guy who rebuilt it.

 

Good morning PA, welcome to Friday! Errands to run, then work on the tailgate this afternoon. Steve, good luck with the transmission.

 

Steve, it might be low on fluid. If it was recently rebuilt there may have been an air pocket that was making it look "full".

No road trip for me, thankfully - 3 hours each way so that rules me out. But, way too much consternation to get to that point...
