i sectioned in a set of early 60s econoline round taillights
the contour of the sheet metal is a dead on match for the quarters on the panel
ad as far as i'm concerned they look wayyyyy better than the originals
plus you eliminate the chrome housings which are usually pitted beyond practical repair.
