Need knowledgeable advice

Have a 76 F250, 360, A/T. I'm rewiring the engine compartment after a fire. 90% sure engine is not original, carb spacer is the same style as my 70 bumpside F100 360.

In the first pic I've already started rewiring.

I believe that this is the engine speed sensor. But all of the stuff its supposed to connect to were not on the engine before the fire.
Can I just terminate those wires in the harness with no adverse affects to the wiring, engine performance and the truck in general?
