Thanks for the notice. I have a Leer topper on my current truck and I really like the style but I'm not real thrilled with the build/component quality. Do you have experience with Snugtop?
My wife poo-pooed the idea of putting a topper on the future Superduty. I'm hoping to change her mind.

I love snugtop Have never had an issue, Lifetime warranty on paint and most items. Post 20 here is my f150 with snugtop. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...new-truck.html this will be my 6th or 7th topper from them. For securing thing from theft a topper is better then nothing. Order it with the electric lock so it will unlock with the tailgate.

I too ordered my Snugtop Xtra Vision with all the bells and whistles in October and Im expecting it next week. If you want the best, this is the topper to get. I also ordered the old school carpet box kit. I've had these in every truck for the last 25 years. They are great for sleeping in the back of your truck and storing a lot of gear while keeping it organized, I will post pics when I get both,

I was told that the reason the topper is taking so long is because they had to engineer them for the new Super Duty and they were not please with the way the rear window turned out so they sent it back to the engineering department. I don't mind waiting to get something built correctly and I'm glad to hear it fits like a glove. I ordered the topper a week after the truck. I never thought the topper would take 2 months longer than the truck.....ha ha

Interesting. It must be their high end division if so. My shell was $4300 but is loaded with features. My last Snugtop was about $2200 and is like brand new still after 12 years and I am offroad a lot spring through fall.

I was also told that the person that inspects the molds for snugtop was on a prolonged family emergency leave so wasn't there to inspect them. And yes according to my Snugtop/Leer dealer, Snugtop owns Leer, and leer make their molds. I want to see pictures once you get it. I couldn't wait for the Snugtop as my wife has a hadicap scooter and I wanted it out of the rain and undercover and lock.
