What's going on today, man?

 

How is it going Neil?

 

We are in the beginning stages of doing our in house project of converting our mapping into a GIS environment. My department head left an OT line item in this year's budget that was created when I was out last year. She said that we could use it to work on the project, especially at this time when we are learning the process. We are coming in a couple days a week early so that we can spend the morning working on things while it is somewhat quiet in the office.

Otherwise, still recovering from the weekend. Met up with a few friends last night before one of them left this morning to drive back to Georgia after being here for the reunion. It is crappy out with misting rain and I have calling hours to go to tonight for a member of the fire department that passed Saturday.

 

Sounds like a busy day Neil.

 

It is, just trying to get to some of the daily work now along with getting an e-mail together to our technical solutions guy that is assisting with the migration. We have a conference call for tomorrow morning with him.

 

Sounds good Neil. I am trying to see how long we can leave a malfunctioning phone on hold. So far it has been on hold since last weekend. With only a few short breaks to see if our IT department has been able to fix it.

 

And I......am reading a book. Slow day at the nuclear fuel storage facility.

 

It has finally slowed down some here. Was busy this morning.

 

I am now just getting to my daily work from yesterday.

 

and I am not sure how much of it will get done today
