What's Neil up to today? And where's George been hiding?

 

Just slaving at the office....lol. I am not sure where George has been hiding. I know that end of last week or the beginning of this his sister or SIL that lives in the eastern part of the state was not doing too well due to cancer.

 

Oh, maybe he's off tending to her. Not much going on today, finished the last thing for the week this morning.

 

That is my thought. I know that he said that they were heading that way to see her, but things may have turned for the worse.

 

That is cool that you have a light day. Are you off from work tomorrow?

 

Nope, this will be my last Friday for a while. Unfortunately, the management here has decided we need a skeleton crew on Fridays, for some stupid reason. So, every 7 weeks or so, I'll be on a 5-8's schedule for 2 weeks. First one will be Aug. 14th.

 

Management always has a way of screwing things up...lol. Well that will not be too bad. Once every 7 weeks or roughly 7 times a year.

 

We'll see how long the Friday thing lasts. Hopefully they see it's a waste, and just put everyone on 4-10's for good.

 

You would hope so, but you never know. Someone may have a bur up their butt and say that it is needed.

 

We still can't figure out why the plant manager wants it. I'm going to ask him when I see him. He and I have been here for about the same amount of time.

 

Maybe he will be able to give you a straight answer, unless the required lobotomy for management removed that function...lol.
