Electrical Question...Keyless entry
Alright, so i am installing the new '03 style mirrors on my truck that have the marker/signal lights in them, and i had an interesting idea. Well, when you unlock the doors from the key fob, the lights inside that cab come on...well, do the same with the marker lights in the mirror. The only question that i have is where can i find the wire that turns the cab lights on/off? I would normally just tap into the dome light, but then every time i open the doors the marker lights would come on. Any suggestions?

The gem module controls the dome light and the key lock thingy is an input into the gem just like the door ajar switch..Its all automatic under certain conditions certain things cause an output..
