Afternoon everyone… if plastic is so bad, and I’m sure it is, why don’t we stop using it and make stuff that will last out of metal and wood again?
about 20 years ago we were at a big dump in Montreal. It’s huge. The garbage trucks were rolling in one after an other and dumping, and right next to them were the recycling trucks, dumping everything over the same edge... I’ve kinda thought recycling was a crock ever since.
Any of the products they make from recycled material costs an arm and a leg..

Probably it's easier, faster and more profitable to make plastic products. I've heard quite a few similar stories, it does really make one wonder.
