i loaded it saturday with everything that did not fit in the big safe. there are two not in there, the AR-7 that is hiding from me, and the S&W 45-06 that is home defense.

the JC Higgins 12 bolt just barely fits, it is 1 inch shorter than the safe is tall.
the kids got a good deal on it. normally $499, they got it for $299

My 2 largest long guns dont come apart very easily. One has 1 screw and 3 barrel bands plus the ram rod. The other one has a bunch of very small pins I have to drive out plus a screw and the lock. The barrels dont come off of those very often because it is time consuming. The shortest one of the 2 is 65" long from muzzle to the butt stock. The other is 70" long. And that is without another roughly 2 feet for the bayonets.
