Adding driver's side door lock question

Digging around I found a set of door locks I saved from a 60 Custom cab and I'm thinking about adding a lock to my driver side door. It seems pretty straight forward but it never hurts to ask if anyone ran into issues doing this. thanks

It is quite easy. The internals are already there. I used the passenger side to make a pattern from the existing hole location. Then marked and cut the hole in the driver side. Put the lock into the hole, lining up the tab that turns and slide on the spring keeper. Very straight forward. On a side note, my son with all that hair in the one picture now shaves his head...LOL
