Good morning everybody!
We're still going through box[s here. Shari is looking for a box that has her Chocolate Diamond rings in it. There's a few/several grand in that box. I'm glad I'm not the one that packed it.
Hope everybody has a good week.

Unk Bob

Good morning youins. Pool liner is installed and now we're filling it while dueling shop vacs keep it in place. Yesterday sucked, I overdid it this weekend and my bad eye was so bad I couldn't even open my good eye. I spent the day in bed and today I have a doc appointment for it, still the same today, but I had to post on here.

I overdid it and he put me on some high powered anti inflammatory eye drops and a couple days of pain pills. No heavy lifting that causes me to really strain, supposed to use my judgement on that one.

Evening folks, well today I passed my DNR (Dept of Natural Resources) water insp with a "passing" grade, so I guess I still have my job tomorrow. lol

Anyone ever rescued a fawn?

Had to pull the Rangers plugs to get it to turn over (due to coolant in the cylinders)...dang it. I just found a complete parts truck too. YEA

Needle nose pliers to the eye Memorial Weekend 2000. A lens implant, 3 cornea transplants (body keeps rejecting them), and a retinal detachment. I made it hurt worse than ever this weekend by pushing my limits with heavy stuff and the strain caused the artificial lens to come loose and need a couple stitches. Wear your safety glasses.

Evening All!

I got cracking on the '69 Chevy again today and actually made some progress. Now I see all the stuff the owner did that has to be redone.

RC stopped by for a set of heads and a couple pistons for his 460. I'm getting nervous about the 460 I just bought. When I turned the engine over to get the torque converter bolts out, I pushed water out of the exhaust manifold. (I assume rain got in the engine and the normal cycle of the engine pushed it through.) In any event, I want to hang on to the extra block in case I find something horrible when I tear it down. It still turns over and has compression, but I don't know if it was ever frozen. I guess I'll know the whole story after the machine shop checks it out.

Evening all.

It has been an absolutely insane week thus far and tomorrow doesn't look much better. I had to be in Jeff City today so naturally nothing went like it should have the first half of the week. Sorry I didn't drop you a line Chip, but it sounds like you weren't in anyhow.

I detoured through Eldon to check out a car the wife found online. Oddly enough - it turned out to be better than the ad made it sound. Although it has more miles on it than average, it has been well cared for and the current owner is a bit OCD about maintenance. It's a little more up front than I planned, but not having a laundry list of things that have to be fixed will keep it under the total budget. It was a solid enough deal that Jesse and I are heading back first thing in the morning to seal the deal and bring it home. I'll get some pictures up once I get it all squared away.

Yea Dave I have had a crazy week also at work, today I was in the backhoe and the dump truck for a bit. Almost had to climb the 105' water tower.

Had to cowboy a loose cow back in a field this morning on the edge of town. Then at lunch had 2 strays out and worked to get them back in on me, and then repair some cattle mangled fence when I got home.

I put the back rack on the 4 wheeler and built a wooden tool hauling box.
