I am pretty sure that I have the best staff of anywhere. Saw 8 employees so far and got 8 hugs.
On my desk is a turkey sammich, slice of pie, and chocolate bunny.
I am way past just blessed.

"Work" days are M/W/F. Today is a day full of slacking!!!

You sure they're not trying to fatten you up so they can get your flight hours???

Good point...and here me being an optimistic type thought they were just being nice.

I sure have flown them hard the past few weeks making up for my being unable to fly.

 

I'm sure they understand the circumstances, Ian.

 

Yes they do Pat.
But i still feel guilty.
So many jobs on the books to do because i was scheduled to fly as well.
And many of those jobs are harder ones only a few pilots can do so it really puts the pressure on those ones.
Then they go do my work and it means they aren't doing what they are scheduled to do...so the more junior pilots have to do that work on top of their own.
Been flying every pilot out of hours for weeks now.
Really tough job scheduled today was supposed to be me doing it...but had to send another pilot out on it instead. Then i sit here and worry about him all day because it is high risk flying....which is why i usually take the highest risk flights so i don't have to worry as much about the people i care for and love.

 

Well, it's nice to know they are there for you, pal. I'm sure you go above and beyond showing your gratitude for their work!
