Leaf spring measuring

Hello all, I'm working on an unusual truck. My daughter has a 76 Toyota mini motorhome that she just bought and the rear springs are sagged VERY bad. ( rear bumper about 8" from the ground) We want to upgrade these to some 1/2 ton springs because there are no Toyotas within 100 miles in the jy.
. My question...Should I measure straight from front bolt to rear bolt OR follow the arch of the spring??
Most/some of the trucks on the jy do not have the box on the frame so the arch of the spring would be more wouldn't it. That is why I'm wondering how I should measure.

Thanks for your help.

Your best bet is to go from the center of the front spring eye and follow the arch down to the center bolt, that will be your first measurement. Then go from the center bolt to the center of the rear spring eye, that will be your second measurement. I'm usually on my shop computer but I'm currently stuck in my house waiting for the snow to stop so I can actually get out of my driveway haha. Otherwise I would have seen what measurements you should be coming up with.
