Reference books

Are the books by James Wagoner and Dan Sanchez acurate books to use for restoration guides? Is there another more authoritative book available?

Don't need a book... there is a wealth of experience in FTE. Read the tech info compilation, lately?

Here. Let FTE save you at least $40 that you can instead put towards tools or **nice** parts: Dentside Rebuild Guidelines: Step-by Step

Engine build books are very helpful.

Are you looking to do a factory restoration? They are the most challenging builds, but IMO, the most impressive. I'm not familiar with the books in question, though I see one of Amazon by Mr Sanchez and it looks more like a coffee table book.

Honestly I do not know who those 2 guys are. Anyway X2 on just READ the link HIO posted above. Build a library of free parts catalogs/start a collection of manuals, even a cheap ol Hanes and Chiltons book is a start and make sure to become a devoted member on here.
