Wanted- 4x4 59 or 60, 61 or 62

I am looking for a '59-'62 factory 4x4 in project/driver condition. Prefer somewhat complete. I understand these are sixty plus year old trucks at this point. My expectations are realistic. Located in Southern Colorado, prefer somewhat local. Wrenching is my hobby. Not very active on this site, but not new to the resto scene.

I inspected this 60 F250 Custom Cab this week, not sure if it is right for me. Thanks.

ISO PTO Throttle cable assembly

Does anyone know where I can find this? I’m not overly interested in a NOS cause I’m going to modify it for my electric e-brake switch so it seems like a waste to cut up a nice new one although if it’s the only option I just might have to take it. I would like to fill the last remaining hole in the dash with something that matches. I would need the entire assembly.

Sorry I know you’re trying to sell but I’m interested about the swap as I’m about to tackle a Cummins 6bt swap in my 58. Issues and others concerns would help. Thanks

if you’re still looking, I have a bench seat out of my 59. The upholstery all there, but has a large rip in the driver and passengers sides. Frame and Springs seem to be in good shape. The foam has seen better days. Good candidate for reupholstery. I’m located in East Idaho.

57 parts

I have some front end items from a 1957 f250 for sale. Also two gas tanks in great shape for 1957-1960 f -series trucks.
  • Hood with side emblems is in good shape with a dent on the passenger side. This should work for a 57-58 truck $200
  • driver fender is also in good shape, but has typical rust in the trailing edge. $200
  • core support/valence in good shape $150
  • headlight beze-57 only. Great shape. $250
  • Two gas tanks in rust free great condition. No pinholes. $100 ea

All prices are obo. Items located in eastern Idaho. Local pickup on larger items.

Walmart item number 577042322

They don't show 17.5" tires but if you search the brand name etc they come up at full price. I wasn't going to trust a link, so I got the item number and put it in the search bar at walmart's website on another device just to be safe. When you do that they come up cheaper and seem to range between $56 and $100 each. I'm not sure why but I've found similar things like this with the local store. I once got several 20v leaf blowers with batteries that fit another tool of mine for about half what the battery cost. Anyway, I was about to order the tires a couple of weeks ago but waited to long and they were out of stock. They came back a few days ago at $90 each and I almost pulled the trigger then but I found a local deal for some lightly used ones that didn't work out. I went back to order them and found they'd dropped back down to $56 again. I ordered them late Saturday and they shipped this morning. It is possible they could be a disaster or some really old stock when they show up so buy at your own risk. I'll post pictures when they show up. I figure that with their return policy, it was worth the risk.

If you're in the market you might start keeping an eye on them.

Update.

I received 4 tires out of the six and they were wrong. Very wrong. Different brand and for an 8" wheel. I contacted customer service and they set up a return for those and expedited 4 more with a note for whoever picked the order to double check brand etc.
A few days later the last 2 from the original order showed up. Still wrong.
At this point I decided to wait things out and see what happened with the 4 that had been reordered. I got more lawn mower tires.

After that I contacted customer service several times but they either seemed confused or promised to do things and didn't follow through
In the end I took a shopping cart with 10 riding mower tires into the local store who then spent the next 45 minutes watching everyone scratching their heads. They finally figured out how to coax their system into refunding my money.

I guess that's what I get for trying to get a bargain.
i have a 59 tilt coe need the passengers side windsheld

1959 F100 Seat Cover Upholstery

Does anyone know of a source for a good pre-fab seat cover kit? (I was hoping for a black custom diamond stitch pattern I have seen advertised for sale for Chevy trucks.)

Good afternoon my name is Corey and I’m up in Maine. I’ll be converting my 57 F250 to 1/2T running gear and I’m looking for some parts. The closer to Maine the better but I’m willing to take a drive within New England if needed; ISO/WANTED: known good steering box, 1/2T Front 5 on 5.5 hubs/drums and Associated 1/2T front brake parts. Rear 61” wms to wms 9” and hopefully leaf springs and hangers/shackles. I prefer a steep R&P but will take any 61” 9” thats in good shape and priced reasonably. Thanks in advance.
