16 Year old clear coat going away... What to do?

If you were in Michigan, it would be half as much..........nothing left from the door handles down, so we just crack a beer, Keep the cab clean and empty the ashtray.
Kinda like picking out glasses with your wife. You don't care as long as you can see out, who cares what you look like from they're angle.
Drive it.
Denny (and maintain it mechanically)

Wasn't saying it doesn't happen in SoCal, just didn't happen to me. Saw plenty of it in PB/OB. Could be that crowd though, more wax on the board than on the car.

About a year ago mine started and today it is completely gone from the roof and hood. I moved out into the IE (SoCal) about 7 years ago and parking outside in 100+ degree heat with very low humidity takes its toll very quickly. A local shop gave me an estimate of 5k about 6 months before it started to peel. Now, I have no idea but I will be getting mine painted this year.

My ride lived it's life in Elsinore, so me n sarg^^^ know the heat. My truck is completely done as far as clearcost. Even bthe buicks' hood is destroyed. Couldn't take it anymore, now here in OC, so I danced it down and hit it with flat black from depot, lol...
