Remember, the factory setup looks like this, terrible.
And below is the teaser of the custom metal work that was just done.
Will show it all after it hits the big show in Texas.

Well, its been a good month with 2 of the biggest shows attended.
Won Best SUV at LST and at FFF. Here are the pics of the engine cover, before and after paint.
LST was in Texas, and I drove the 1200 miles there and 1200 back.
FFF was in Laughlin Nevada and that was an easy trip compared to Texas.

Never saw this build before. Love the custom work, that takes a lot of skill.

He's been working on it for years. It was the only bagged one I could find when I was wanting to bag my 5.4 back in the day.

Thanks everyone! Been a long build but its all been worth it.
I think a lot of stuff will be hitting the publication world soon with Bigg Brown!

On a side note: anyone have experience with ceramic coating paint??

If you mean the ceramic powder coat they use on headers ? I did my last race cars headers in it and was not impressed. May have been the product or the shop that did the work but it was junk. Ended up having stainless headers built.

Only real ceramic coatings.

Works great on lanterns.

Lowriders were never my thing and now the Excursion is worthless as a tow rig. With that said I love how it turned out. It looks really good! Love the X'ecution and what went into getting it done. I remember this build from years ago and never thought of it again. Looks great. And congrats on the Awards!
