Evening John, and all to follow. Just got back from Pendleton and the girls won 4th in State. Great last game beat Regis by 5. Drive was long but worst part was the last hour with the rain.

Did miss the Mud Fest today, did anybody around her go?

It's coming down like crazy right now. My ponds are over flowing and I don't think I have had to add water to any of the tanks in 2 or 3 months, they fill up faster then the yaks drink.

Andy and I live in the Willamette Valley, in between the smaller coast range mountains and the bigger Cascade Mountains. I'm in the bottom of the valley and he's a bit more into the foothills of the Cascades, about 30 minutes east of me.

I'm sure it's pretty there. I don't like when you get abundant amounts of rain though..

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home from the meeting in Salem and then had an errand to run but the store closed 2 hours early tonight for some reason.

Congrats to your daughter Andy.

John, I live in the very far west reaches of the Willamette Valley in a river bottom at 196' above sea level and 25 miles out of the ocean surf. The climb into the coast range mountains begins almost as soon as you pull out of my driveway. Just a couple miles away I can be at 2000'.

RYE MOUNTAIN, OR. BDFO3 (RAWS)

Current Time: Mar 4 7:37 pm PST
Total rainfall for calendar year: 29.41 inches
Total rainfall for water year (oct 1 - sep 30): 79.11 inches

Another good Saturday here.....did a little paperwork, then cut a little jag of wood.....the grandsons helped.....pretty good help for their age. After we got our load,I told them we were half done..... they were somewhat dismayed when I told them we had to unload and stack it. They did enjoy the pizza after we were all done.

John, I'm on the east side of the Cascades and we get around 10-12 inches of rainfall a year.
