2017 Gum Flapping Thead....

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting back from a deer hunt with a muzzleloader up on the mountain above the reservation.
Are your hubs locked in?
Do you have adequate lube in the front and rear ends?
Lock the hubs in, put it in 4 wheel High, put it in gear (engine off), set the parking brake, crawl underneath, grab the drive lines (do both front and rear) try to shake them sideways and up and down. Try turning them. If there is any movement, you probably need to replace the U Joints. Don't forget to check the transfer case.
Beyond that, check to make sure you don't have caliper or disc / drum problems on your brakes.

I checked the U joints; did not however set 4wd and lock the hubs in. Ill try it that way and see.
I appreciate all the advice; ill report back when I start tinkering some. Have to wait until next paycheck. Too many things afoul this one. Ill use my motorcycle except for Tuesday when itll be cold and supposedly snowing.

I think besides alignments, the only thing they really can’t do is fancy dancy specialty keys for specific vehicles. As I recall the seats in my pickup has those so it would be on me to own them.

There you go. If you can't isolate the problem yourself, someone at the hobby shop will be able to help you out.
$4.00/$6.00.... Last time I used one (Navy Base) it was a buck an hour, $3.00 for 4 hours. I could off set that by doing some occasional welding for the shop on peoples projects.

Evening everyone! Well... maybe afternoon for y’all.
Question for y’all: what brands of fluids have worked best for y’all? Im going to start stocking up so I can change all of it out before Christmas.
