Looking to add a 2010 Flex Limited, looking for insight

Greetings all,

I reside in the 7.3 and Excursion forums, however come Monday I may be joining y'all here as well.

Long story short, wife has a Cruze and it's not fitting the bill. THIRD transmission (all under warranty), I don't fit it comfortably when it's just me, let alone a kid or three, and it has depreciated like an Aztec. Found a 2010 Flex Limited local for $10,900 with 130xxx miles on it. Seems to have all the bells and whistles for the year model minus the AWD and EcoBoost. It's kitted out with the 3.5 NA V6, second row captains with heaters, fridge, triple panorama roof thing, etc etc. Dealer offered us $5000 for the Cruze, which is insanely more than we figured it'd be worth - which is why we're looking hard at this Flex.

Online reviews for when they were NEW are great across the board, the vehicle itself drives solid (slight pull to the right, which dealer will fix before driving off the lot), and you'd be hard pressed to tell it has 20k on it, let alone 130k. It looks to have been very well maintained, all the leather and the rest of the interior is immaculate, so on and so forth.

I've perused the crossover forum and haven't found much to be of any concern, it's not AWD so the tar-fluid isn't a concern. The rear outer top panels are not cracked either. Is there anything else I should be looking at? I have 280k on my Excursion, but it's a diesel... I know the rest of the vehicle is subject to everything a gasser is, but the X is also the newest vehicle I have ever owned outside of the wife's Cruze crapbox, my STi, and the G35... the latter being Japanese and purchased new, or damn close to it.

I appreciate any advice and input y'all have on the matter!

The pre13's had the PTU issue with the AWD system, but this will not concern you. Sounds like a pretty good car.

I bought a used 2010 AWD Ecoboost with 50,000 miles on it, have put another 15,000 on it in the past year and a half.

Great vehicle. In fact, one of the best I've ever owned. The Ecoboost is a big part of that, and AWD is really nice up here in the frozen north. Love the ride, the legroom front and back, and the flexibility (lots of stuff, lots of people, some stuff, some people).

It drives like a car, which is nice.

BTW, I pulled out the PTU fluid at 50,000 and it was fine.
