Try using the values below to get DPF % screen without the camera error
That did it for me, too! Thanks!
I saved all of my originals, but I didn't make a note of of the values before I changed them. I was able to open the original file with Notepad and read the address and its value on the display in plain language, so I knew which value to change to.
My BDM module is named BdyCM.
I also enabled the "window up" option and the "Bambi" option.
What is global window remote close? Is this for when you hold the lock button the windows close? So this option 720-02-01 adds the ability to enable/disable from the Instrument Cluster?
Correct this adds the feature within the Gauge cluster screen (Far Right tab Advanced>Windows>Global Open and Global Close.) It allows you to turn the feature on or off via check boxes. Assuming you have enabled all the other settings to allow it to work. Appears as a more factory feature vs just knowing you have it programmed within Forscan.
And Epic to be more clear, I actually added 8 digits to my as built value. So if other user complain this doesn't work it may be that, so if you could add a note within the spreadsheet to say add 8 to current value that may create less issues for others without Platinum trims.
Hey everyone, done some Forscan mods today. I can confirm the following.
APIM Raptor theme
IPC Temps, average speed, dpf filter status.
Also using info from f150 forum user DanMc85 we can add the option to enable global window 'Remote Close' by changing IPC - 720-02-01: *xxx xxxx xxxx change * to B. This is functional on my F350 Plat.
So just a heads up, after i completed all of these settings this weekend, while on my way to work this morning i noticed that now i no longer have the Gear Indicator lights (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) on the left hand of my Gauge screen. They are also not displayed even while in Manual mode, so this is a biggie! If anyone else is testing can you confirm if you can replicate the same results? I will dig into this further this weekend.

Did you try pushing the +/- on the gear shift to make them come back? This happens sometimes regardless of any FORScan programming so I'm wondering if this is the case here.

Yep, push the + and all will be right with the world.

Yes, I'm familiar with how to turn them on and off per normal. But no that isnt the issue. And like i noted, this even occurs when in "M" manual gear selection. I have never seen manual not show the gear lights, no way im aware of can you even turn them off when in manual gear?
Very odd indeed... That's the first I've heard of that error... I just went out and checked mine. For a second I thought mine was out too but then I remembered it only light when in drive. Nothing there in park or reverse.

Have you added all the features that i put into the IPC?
IPC - Temps above gauges, average speed, dpf filter status, global open check box.

I did all but the global check box. I also have auto fold mirrors and secure idle. Mine shows the gear selection but sometimes it is off so I have to to hit the +- but you already discussed that.
What's a global open check box? I did the global up on the windows. (Global down was already enabled through the truck options.) Temps and average speed have been added. Dealer did my DPF screen on delivery because Forscan couldn't do the IPC back then.

What value did you use for the global open check box and what was your as-built value? You attributed this check box as disabling the gears display so I'm wondering if the value you used did both much like the guys that did the DPF % and got the camera error.

I was going off of DanMc85 info i found on your F-150 forum. He stated to increase the value by +5. I tried that and it didn't work, so then i tried +6, +7, +8. Viola +8 did the trick, my original value i believe was 720-02-01: 3xxx xxxx xxxx. I would have to check my backup abt file to confirm that though.

Okay so I hope this is a big help to clarify this issue. Our trucks come with Global Close (Up) check boxes available on the IPC and after changing 720-02-01: 3xxx xxxx xxxx to Bxxx xxxx xxxx, i enabled the Global Close (Down) to be a check-able box, i.e. it can now be enable/disable via the on screen menu instead of just by using Forscan.
