All,
Q1:Any way to set the traction control upon start up to default to "OFF" then if needed press the TC button to turn on?
currently it is set "ON" by default . I see in the Spread sheet you can turn it off. I interpreted this as "No more TC" as opposed to what Im looking to do.
I suppose I could just try it. but figured I'd ask.

Q2: Whats the difference between Traction control on/off and Advanced Traction Control on/off?

Q3: here is the dumb one. I seee many option for turning different lights on and off etc.. Spot, Mud, Driving Parking etc... some of them Im not familiar with the names of.
Would be nice to see a post describing what light and where etc. Like Mud light? for instance. just to name one.

Thanks to all for any and all contributions!

There are 2 different set of hex codes. One set says Halogen the other says LED and some Halogen for doing the bambi mode.

The halogen only hex codes did not work on my truck. I had to use the LED and some Halogen code. Some pages back in this thread, there was a member that could not get bambi mode to work using the halogen codes. After some dicussion he tried the LED and some Halogen codes and it worked. As I said, pick one you got a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time.

If you're running larger tires than you can adjust to with Forscan, causing the check engine light to come on, you can adjust the axle ratio in the BCM to achieve your final drive ratio without a CEL.

I tried several times to get it to work with several different codes but was unable to.
The reason it doesn't display temp., because it's oil pressure not temp..

That guage is a glorified idiot light. I took mine in a couple days after I bought it because it always went to the center. Come to find out it's oil pressure and doesn't actually move, it's either on or off.

I did temperature above the gauges and added the DPF % to the cluster. Worked great. Thanks for the spreadsheet and for the instructions.

Finally got around to doing this! Made a few changes:
- Fog lights on with high beams
- Temps for gauges (wish it worked for turbo boost!)
- Heated and cooled seats on home screen
- Add DPF filter %
- Enter NAV destination and view texts (Lost Android Auto. Funny, I used it a couple times when I first got the truck and haven't used it since because of losing the functionality of the stock controls. So while I was playing around with ForScan in the truck, I figured I'd take another look at AA. It was gone. Came back here and searched and found out why it was gone.)

Any chance you could add an "as of" date to the spreadsheet? Then we could tell when it was last updated and if we have the newest version. Thanks!

I talked him out of it since it would cause his vehicle to fail the annual state safety inspection here in VA. If you don't mind changing it back and forth in order to pass such an inspection, good for you. The F150 owner did not want to be reliant on me every year to make those changes. Granted, a dealer's service reflash may cause him to seek my FORScan-ability again.

I don't mind having to change it back if I needed to, takes like two minutes, but I won't need to. That was a good catch on your part though in that instance. Wouldn't have thought of that.

Having high beams and fogs on at once isn't legal here either but man, I can't imagine any inspector purposely turning on the fogs then going to high beam to check. And in MA, we are right behind CA for heavy handed inspections. They even mandate recorded video cameras in the inspection bays that the state can audit. I just turn off my fogs before inspection and have no issue no matter where I go.

Just wondering. Are you saying that you lose Android Auto capability if you enable NAV destination entry via Forscan?
