What's up with the 2 door taxi cabs? I would think that would be a pain to get passengers in and out on a regular basis like a taxi business would be, and 4 doors would be preferred.

And after much study, I think the two light blue 54's camping are the same truck. Turn signals were added. The tip off was this: look at the dent in the hubcap on the right rear fender.

I mean the windowless bed caps on those two different '54 trucks. I've heard the old timers refer to those as Spam Cans. You could put tools or sporting equipment inside with no prying eyes or weather intrusion. Your stuff is bone dry and out of sight. Windowless round-sided small trailers got the same name I think.
There was a ribbed bed cap of that type about 30 miles away where I'd go ice fishing. It was at a private camp and was used to cover firewood. Last saw it about 25 years ago, the camp traded hands and the whole yard was cleaned up and all the stuff including that cap was gone.
