That first pic of today is just so cool. The iconic front end of the Chevy and the iconic shape of the T-bird passing by is just such a fantastic snapshot of the era.
That, and just the simple snip of times gone by in the first pic of post #9840 just about says it all.
And in case it hasn't been mentioned lately Bobby, thanks again for taking so much time out of your day to search out and re-post these fantastic photos for us all to enjoy.
Not minimizing the photos added by the other regular contributors, Abe and the others, but highlighting your effort.

Sheet metal was tough back then, but the men were tougher!
Love the pic of the guy in the dirty shop removing the body with no shirt and bare foot! Then there's the guy laying in the snow installing chains that looks like he could care less about the cold.
That's probably reflective of what they've been talking about lately regarding what is considered "normal" body temperatures. Used to be 98.6° f and now it's 97.6°
When these pics were taken, it was probably 99!
