I'm baffled....what is going on in that picture above? A couple hundred Fords, all white in color and regular people standing around getting their picture taken. One guy trying to chat up the young lady in the T-Bird. The rest are patiently standing next to the car. Trucks are in the back row.

I see one black sheep wayyyyyy in the back. This was a staged event it appears, but what was it for? They didn't have the interweb back then to summon a flash mob. What brought them all together?

The gal in the T-Bird is pretending to check her i-Phone 12 while playing hard to get......her unimpressed mother is two rows behind keeping a close watch on the young man trying to get her daughter's number.

Simply amazing! Great reads. Good articles.

Thanks for doing the research Wayne!

I'm going to ask my computer programming son if he ever heard of RAMAC. And I like how they put "programming" in quotes as it was a new term.

Mom and Dad had a 1963 1/2 Comet, 2 door, fastback, with a 170 with the 2 speed auto. That was probably the best car we ever had, and ran great with plenty of power.

My uncle had a '62 or 63 Falcon with a 144. We all decided to go to the mountains one Sunday. Climbing the mountain, our 170 was going up with ease, while my uncle had a hard time keeping up. We had to stop 3 times because his kept overheating.

My uncle traded very shortly afterward.
