Morning Shaun. That's what I'm leaning towards. People comment about them throwing stones though. I was also looking at Toyo AT2s. I think my truck will look better with OWL.
I'm staying with my stock rims but might go just a hair larger. My stock size is 275/70-18 but I'm looking at 295/70-18.

I have the same stock size as you on my truck. When the current ones on the truck wear out I will be swapping in the BFG's. I have not had any issues with them throwing stones. Biggest thing I need to do right now is install some lights.

No matter what tire I look at, someone will have negative comments. I have BFG AT's on my old 79' F-350 but those tires were bought many moons ago.

If it wasnt for the fact I traded in my last truck back in September I would be putting another set of BFG's on it.

Were the BFG's used as your daily driver?

Yes they were Craig. I managed about 3 years of daily driving with them on the truck. which isnt too bad at all. Only one that had no miles on it was the spare which I didnt pay for.

My truck has turned into my daily driver since I gave my oldest my daily driver for her to keep at college. I need to do an alignment before buying the tires. I'm going to contact my local ford dealer/ QuickLlane and find out about the alignment.

That works. My local tire place I use does a pretty good alignment so I have them check teh alignment twice a year ( Baltimore City roads are tough on the truck.) I also have them check it when I go in to buy new tires.

Ford's Quicklane also offers price guarantee on tires too so I might check in with the BFG T/A KO2's.

Maybe they can offer you a good deal on tires and the alignment.

That's what I'm thinking but they only have the stock size of 275/70-18. So now I'm not sure if it is worth going with the 295/70-18??? I was looking to fill in a little bit more of the wheel wells.
