This is scrapple. Right out of the package. It can bee eaten this way, as it has already been cooked, but very few like it that way. It should be fried, in butter, to get a nice crisp edge.
And this is close to the perfect scrapple sandwich. A nice think piece of scrapple, a nice sunny side up egg, with the yoke running all down the side and a slice of your favorite cheese.

It is good eating John. Very regional though. Just like Pit Beef is primarily a Baltimore thing.
