Good morning woodchucks and imposters. Welcome to taco Tuesday and a less poopy doggy day. But still not quite out of the woods either.

Blackberries here are prolific but not as sweet as last year - I think the long dry spell hurt the flavor a bit. Not sure what we'll do - pie, jam, muffins??? Got to get Helen working on prepping!!!! Got to live off the land!!! And no, whatever we make isn't going out of state Don, and you can't afford it anyway.

The place we go to pick is excellent and cheap. $8 a quart or $5 if pull 10 weeds. And the bushes are loaded with lots to still ripen. I got 2.5 quarts off one bush Sunday. Plus it's only about 6 miles away, big bonus
