Blackberries here are prolific but not as sweet as last year - I think the long dry spell hurt the flavor a bit. Not sure what we'll do - pie, jam, muffins??? Got to get Helen working on prepping!!!! Got to live off the land!!! And no, whatever we make isn't going out of state Don, and you can't afford it anyway.

Good morning Shawn. Bushes are loaded and most haven't ripened yet. Kind of depends on the bush. But enough sugar will sweeten anything up, even you . We really needed rain a week before we got it, that would have helped immensely

Glad to hear you have less splatter to clean

 

The place we go to pick is excellent and cheap. $8 a quart or $5 if pull 10 weeds. And the bushes are loaded with lots to still ripen. I got 2.5 quarts off one bush Sunday. Plus it's only about 6 miles away, big bonus

 

Thats good Jim. Not much real close to me. But I have a few good farmers markets I go to for stuff.
