I have 3 drums of Shell Diala inhibited electrical insulating oil sitting in my garage. I got it from where I work when we had to drain the oil out of a piece of equipment for repairs. (Corona field generator - the machine was not outside.) The machine had only been in service for about 7 months, but we had to put fresh oil in the tanks after the structure was repaired.

I did a little research and found my old '02 7.3 would burn it. I started filtering it and using about 5 gallons in each fill up. The truck loved it.

But it didn't stop the rust. I got through most of the first drum before the body would no longer pass state inspection and I had to send her down the road. I kept the oil thinking I would get back into a diesel. That was three years ago. Time to let it go.

There is probably around 100 gallons sitting in 3 drums. I am in western PA, just north of Allegheny county. Anyone wants it, come get it. I need the space in my garage. 724-6XX-XXXX.

9/6/19 UPDATE: The oil is gone. Someone picked it up to use in a waste oil furnace.
