LOL...we must be related somehow!!! I pull dash apart to replace the wiper switch and next thing I know Im getting ready for a DRW and diesel swap!!!

Actually I was referring to the big end of the rods.. something I have seen myself and something that is easily corrected at the machine shop, I suppose the small end could wear too but holy crap.. if those things are sloppy how many billions of miles are on that motor and should you be using any of it for a rebuild. Crank journals generally don't go out of round as badly as you suggested.

Yeah, I mis-typed that, I was thinking of the rod journals vs the mains..lol. So I meant the "big" end of the rod...the small end is the wrist pin. So, Sorry that was a TYPO and NOOB MOVE..lol
And, I didnt suggest that the journals go out of round, in fact it was just the opposite.
