I'm taking off later this morning to drop Rocky off for his bath, then some errands and shopping for bags of ice, and snack stuff for our long day in the truck tomorrow.
I'm wanting to leave by 6am, to get away from Durham and Raleigh before the traffic really takes off. I'm figuring a 12 or so hours day of driving tomorrow, then Friday will be a short drive of the last 4-5 hours to Independence Mo.

Hope everybody's doing good.

Unk Bob

Morning folks. Drive safe Unk Bob.

RC is all you need is the rag joint/flex coupler? Same deal and a little cheaper. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-GENUINE-...-/121586362825

yea rich .. my rag joint disintegrated in less than a 1,000 miles.. i will re-check my alignment, cab mounts and other things that could of caused this.. then probably get one of those repair kits from the "help" section at the parts store..they are only 10.00 or so.. the one i put in when i replaced the original (that was actually still good) was like 40.00..

Good Morning Everybody!

RC. Just cut one out of a radial tire tread. That sucker won't go away!

I want to get the rear brake guard finished up this morning, then get RC's truck back in to finish the paint in the bed. That way RC doesn't have any excuses to why the truck isn't finished.

I'll need to get EQ back in the shop after I get done with High Roller for the rest of the safety stuff, but at least I have a jump on it now.

i just read the description on that $137.65 rag joint... it is only warrantied for 1 year..you would think for that kind of price they would have more faith in it than that and give it a lifetime warranty
