i feel your pain my truck was in Michigan for about 5 to 7 years and it did not help my bed or the bed supports. and because it was a work truck no one really cared about the bed or well the truck in general. all of the bolts on my exhaust manifold are in bad shape i will be lucky to get them off without snapping them. two on the back cylinder are snapped off one is almost even with the manifold and the other is shorter hopefully i can latch on a good pair of vise grips.

Good looking truck and good work I am a big fan of the xl trucks too and prefer them to the fancier models.

well an update I kept noticing that I had a rattle noise coming from under the truck and could hear it under hard accelerations and come to find out my cat was going bad. so after pricing around I did not have the funds to replace it with a new one so I opted to just cut it off and add a piece of pipe where it was and problem fixed truck runs better than it has in a long time now I can hear all the holes in my muffler im going to have to replace that soon now

only update I have done to the truck is I replaced my muffler with a SI SO flowmaster super 44.
I have acquired a junkyard 5.4 engine that I am going to be rebuilding over the next couple of months. I will have pictures of my progress when I start

with Christmas around the corner, i will be getting some money for Christmas more than likely about 100 to 200 dollars.
what should I get for my truck? there are a couple of things I need to replace like the fuel filter, pcv valve, belt tensioner, and some front end parts. what would every suggest not just from my list but anything else that you think should be replaced or looked at to be replaced?

well, you can guess, or just wait for the truck to tell you. I'd spend $20-$40 on something you want to do to the truck, and let the rest spend itself when the time comes.

Exactly my problem! The list never stops growing either! The weather here in NY sucks this "Spring"...highs of 30* and snow flurries. I'm trying to bring my 01' F-250 XLT back from the dead (body-wise) and this weather is killing me without having room in the garage!
