OT - How 'bout them [insert favorite NCAA team here]!

Alright March Madders, let's hear about your brilliant bracket picks and guaranteed winners for the big dance. Watch the smack talk 'cause this isn't some sort of political event.

Now Doc, your Wildcats really need to focus this year so they can beat the Tarheels before losing to Sparty. Please pass that along to Coach Cal, thanks.

Bucky might win a game or two, but Wisconsin isn't going to go deep with this team. My pick for tourney darlings are the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State. Somebody will need to give me the right cheer for these guys, is it sort of a Thumper foot thing?

My overall winner: The Spartans of MSU coached by the pride of Iron Mountain Michigan - Go Mountaineers! - Tooooooom Izzzzzzzzzzo!

Whatcha got?

I don' like basket ball they used to use me as the ball and it has left a lasting scar. Oh ya I am still round so don't even think of it. If Kansas is in it then I am for them. See I don't even know who is in. Hope all of you fans enjoy since college foot ball in a few months away.

The Jayhawks are expected to go deep in the tournament. It's ok to look at other sports before spring football.

Hey DW,
I did my bracket last night. Hmmmm... I lose interest if I just pick the 1 seeds to go to the Final 4 so.... I've got
Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, & ...... drum roll please the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue beating Kansas
in the championship game. They've got two 7 footers - why not.

The team I follow is Texas but I just don't see much there. I hope they prove me wrong! Go Horns! Go Boilermakers!
If Texas plays Texas A&M in the second round I may have to be sedated.

Ben
This is a wide open tournament with no dominant team. So the Boilers could make a run. Texas has a good new coach and should have a great future.

I recall Wisconsin going far last year with 2 big tall guys.
It was fun to watch.

I'm happy with where Texas basketball is headed. Smart seems to have brought an edge to the team - they've
been winning close ones they would have lost last year. My bracket is sort of a homer for Big 12 schools but it's
what I see on a regular basis. I'll be in real trouble if the PAC 12 or Big East have a good tournament.

Too bad about the Boilers, Ben. Baylor had a rough go with Yale. Stay tuned.

Hey DW,
I didn't even get out of the first round! I'm pulling for my Horns at this point to get to the Aggies in the second round.

I have Iowa State, Kansas, N Carolina, and Oregon with Iowa St winning it all. So far none have been knocked off, but so far it is quite a tournament. Lots of my picks have lost so far though, still pulling for the Texas teams...

So far, you're looking pretty smart. We'll see if the Cyclones can make a run. Bucky wins a squeaker against a very tough Pitt team.

How about Stephen F Austin! Aggies win and might just get to play the Horns. We will see what happens this weekend, should be interesting.
And, I am actually working on my truck again! Installing the AC and heat right now, even bought a crimper for the AC lines I am making. So much more fun than building cabinets for somebody else...

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE, now I know that they are in trouble this year, but the way the year has gone,it's anybody's tourney. That's why I love college b-ball,tired of all the one and done players, but that's today's mindset. I've really enjoyed watching Texas and Texas A&M play this year,it could be A&Ms year if it falls right. Now with all that said, it would be good for the game if say Oregon,A&M, or Virginia would win instead of the one of the regular blue bloods. Now, go DUUUUUUUUUUUUKE. L8R ZFLASH

There have been an extraordinary number of thrilling finishes. Painful way for the losing teams to bow out. Play on!
