Pulled the trigger
Ordered today: 2016 F350 Lariat, crew cab short bed, 6.2, 4.30, camper pkg., cab lights, Lariat interior pkg., uplifter switches, Caribou color, black leather interior, cng prep pkg. Have aftermarket running boards, dura flap mud flaps, Century High C max cap and line-x picked out once it comes in. Now I have to wait. Thinking of spraying the undercarriage with POR 15 before I have any rustproofing done. Has anyone else done This? If so, what were your results? Thanks

No duelly. Only tow about an 8000# 32' Jayflight. Plus it will be the daily driver.

I thought POR 15 was rust proofing? I used to use it to seal old motorcycle fuel tanks.

What GWVR and does matter? Is the 350 going to cost more from registration and insurance? I heard one time that HOAs can mess with one tons.

If I am thinking of the right number the GVWR is 11,300. In Indiana the plate difference between 250 & 350 is negligable, the big cost in Indiana is the excise tax which is based on the cost of the vehicle.

I was always leary of a gas powered superduty but couldn't be happier with my 6.2. Congrats on the truck, i really like the caribou color

Congrats on the new ride. Haven't done the rustproofing on any of my trucks. Never been a problem with my applications.

Congratulations on getting a new truck.
I sprayed mine with gear oil and diesel fuel.
Every crack, hole, channel, and crevice.
Hopefully it helps

Por 15 is for repairing rust. Paint over rust.
Fluid film is ok but I like bar and chain oil
