Actually its a sled that slides in the table saws miter slot. Its very accurate and the only miter gauge that I use. I bought it in a wood show in Chicago in 1989 for less than 100 bucks.
I hope so. The bed or flat piece that slides on the saw needs replacing. the arc is going to be the problem, it is undercut on the bottom where a tee nut slides that holds the miter arm.
I was going to use a 1/2" ply and cut the arc in it with the router. Most all laminate covered sheets are of partical board. My Dubby is made of plywood. I could paint it.
