Glad you made through the week, Chris...hope you can enjoy the weekend.
We got just enough snow to make the ground white this afternoon.
Been trying to get hold of a guy in Albany who has an old engine for sale. So far he hasn't called me back. Possible road trip tomorrow.
We have plenty of crazies around here...most (but not all) of them have moved in over the last 10-15 yuppie years.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 36.8° and almost an inch of rain since midnight.
Went out to the pickup this morning and noticed the passenger floor mat was wet with standing water on it. Dumped it out and noticed a drip from the black heater ducting under the glove box. Its rain water and not antifreeze. Apparently water is making its way all the way through from the heater/AC air intake? Anyway it was dripping right at the top edge of the mat so the carpet is wet. Trying to get it dried out now.

Hello Chris and Jim, finished up clearing snow from yesterday and back in to recover, it's 35°F here, reason the snow was so damn heavy..

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from the farm/ranch. All animals present and accounted for. Even found 5 extras.....
Chicken pot pie waiting to be devoured so I should go downstairs and not disappoint it...

A quick trip over the mountain this morning...before the snowplow came out. I was able to negotiate a pretty good deal on a John Deere 6 hp engine.....circa late 1920's....these are difficult to come by this close to home. Since he had other cool items that i was unaware of, I quickly filled up the back of the pickup, and then some. So I'll be going back another day..hopefully under better road conditions.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 29.8°, wet with pea soup fog. Visibility about 3" better than 0.

I suspect it is colder there. But, I won't begrudge you a bit...you can keep it. I live by the rule that it is not nice to covet what my neighbor has. Dang, I wish I had the brand new custom boat he just got though!
