The only truck I can see is a Chevrolet.

Looks like Navy Day in this port w/a couple of DD's moored to the wharf.

Some cool parts in that speed shop pic....all those shiny heads and manifolds in the glass case. Even the "Racing Equipment" clock on the wall is way cool.......

Why do I think that one kid behind the counter then is worth 1000 kids behind parts counters today?

You think that because he was. He actually had to "know things" vs. looking at a computer and hoping for the best.

The A&W here in town sold an ''animal burger'', 6 meat patties,
I only know one person here that could eat a whole one,
my Mom would by root beer by the gallon, I still have a few empty jugs

Up in Cleveland, Bearden's was the place to be. Kinda like Mel's . Home of the Peanut Burger.
