Good evening Illinois and wandering lurker's.

Spent the afternoon locating why my truck doesn't have brake lights on the left side plus the same with the 7way plug. About the time that I was ready to give up, checked the brake light relays and found one to be corroded from Iowa and Illinois Winters. Problem fixed.

Was an easy fix because it didn't cost but it was most of the afternoon rolling around under the truck on my back on a creeper. all of this for my son. BIL is bringing his dumptrailer from Galesburg tomorrow then wifey and I are going to Springfield Monday morning to pick up 5 ton of rock and sand for his landscape project.

 

You should have checked the relay first...LOL

 

I started by cleaning connections at the back working forward because that is where I thought it was. I didn't know the wiring for the 7 way plug went all the way to the engine bay.

 

That's probably what I would have done too...LOL
