Is the I155 and 74 interchange coming along? Any idea when it will be completed?

Don't know about that but Columbus and Nashville has road work going on as well as several places along I65..

I had heard November. I drove on it a few days ago, the westbound lanes are done, they are working on a small part of eastbound and are pouring center concrete barriers

The I155 I74 interchange is outside Clint's back door, been torn up since March.

Problem is, we want to buy 5+ acres and Veronica really wants to stay within Morton school district.

Well the problem is, Morton High School is the best school district in the area, so property values are high. We found a few acres but they want like $30k/acre. And I'm just not gonna pay that. I would pay $10k/acre for prime area, or $5k/acre in the country.

I know Morton schools are good. Property is not cheap by any means. Look at it as an investment. You know that you'll move up in the future.

Well we are looking for land to build our house on. like a house we would never move out of. So won't really ever recoup the $$$

Your children will.

To the East of Morton is a nice area. I wouldn't go West to E Peoria.
