Was camping with the first wifey in the Black Forest when up came a hellasious rain and washed everything out of the tent. Was time to head home.

 

I have been through storms like that Rick. Was setting up camp when a severe storm came through. Turns out we were also under a tornado watch with that one.

No tornadoes in Europe, not much lightening either.

 

Sure isnt Rick. We had some light rain for a few hours while I was there in 2012.

 

Never got hot or humid.
Wasn't bone chilling cold like here.
They did know how to pile on the white crap.

 

I went to Europe in november. It was still in the 50's there. It was comfortable for a light jacket.

 

There were times in the Winter that I wore a fatigue shirt with long handles and no field jacket. Was plenty comfortable.

 

Yeah. I was wearing trousers, a t-shirt and a Jacket. was really comfy. Had a fleece jacket that can zip into my one jacket in case it was needed. Had that when we got back to the states. It was cooler here then it was there.

 

They had a hail storm while I was there, 7" of hail on the ground. I have never seen that before.

 

Thats alot of hail. Worst thing we had was some turbulence on the flight to Heathrow and then from London to Berlin. But I thought that was fun. For me the flight to London was the first time I had ever been on a plane.
