LPG chugging issues

LPG chugging issues
Hey guys i have a Straight 6, 1974 F100
It is on dual fuel, (LPG/gas) and gas runs perfect although on both fuels, although when i start on LPG (which runs perfect) as i continue to drive and engine warms up after say 20min of driving LPG starts chugging....
If i touch the gas converter it is insanely hot, is that normal????
What do you think it could possibly be??
