We didn't have a whole lot of snow, either. a good amount of 3 inchers, one or two 6 or so inches. not a bad winter as far as snow goes, but gawd awful cold. too many days in the single digits for my taste.
a dry winter isn't good for you guys, is it? could be a drought this summer. which means fire, right? my sister lived in Montana for years. That was always a big concern.
Hi Bill. I play a pretty good outfield for an old guy. I used to be real good out there, but the speed is gone. I can still hit. I batted about .600 last year, but it's slow pitch, so that's only so-so good. i don't have much power anymore. it's still fun, though. i'm in a low level church league. the competition is about all i can handle these days.
That's what I did - low level church league, slow pitch. I lacked power hitting (surprising given my strength) but I could put it in key places when I had to. I was a good RBI guy. We won the league title once, came in 2nd the next year. The league folded due to politics though.
