Question Grill Shell Removal Question

Hey guys, I am trying to remove a grill shell on a 1977 f100 custom, I went to taking out the bolts on it and on each end of the shell it has 2 bolts that are put in from inside the front fenders what is the best way to access these bolts? can they be reached by removing the inner wheel well liners? just wondering how much work i am getting myself into to get this grill shell off

Thanks in advance,

Grill Shell Removal Question

Yup remove the inner fender well liners and you can reach them. Also take off the headlight trim and there are a couple small screws there holding it on. I don't know how your truck is but on my 79 I also had to take the front bumper off, because the grill itself made a lip all the way down behind the bumper.

Grill Shell Removal Question

You shouldn't have to remove the bumper, all you should have to do is remove the wheel well liner. There is a lip near the front bumper but it can removed w/o removing the bumper. It is a relatively simple operation, I just recently did it. However I had all the liners removed already, but they're just screws.
