fordomatic install
I'm replacing my 3spd with a fordomatic. Everything is out but installing it with the cross member in place looks like it will be close. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions? My truck is a 1953 f100 272.

Make sure your crankshaft is machined with the recess for the t.c. hub!

Thanks for the reply. I got it in today. I just had to remove the plate inside on the floor.
I removed the pilot bushing and the torque converter fit nice.
