Saturday, I changed the ride height on my 5th wheel hitch up one inch. And right away I wanted to drive the truck to see how different it felt.....and the hitch wasn't even installed in the bed of the truck.

Sunday I added the high idle mod. And yet again I wanted to take the truck for a drive. Keep in mind that you can't use the high idle mod unless sitting still in park with the emergence brake set.

Maybe it's more cabin fever at this point, or could be I just like driving this truck. After all, Duallys do it Better.......Right?
Holy crap! I thought it was just me!!!

LOL!!!!, I was thinking the same thing about myself. I mean it's not like that little Vette, Mustang, Prowler, Miata and other toys that I used to have sitting around in the garage. This is a Big Ole HONKING Truck that is a blast to drive. Not to mention I now look down in those little toy cars that once brought me such pleasure.

I came home from a 10 hour day, got a quick bite to eat and had to make a Home Depot run, wife tells me to take her Explorer and I said no I am going to take the truck your little Explorer isn't cool enough, she just rolls her eyes at me and shakes her head. So jonrjen I know exactly what you are talking about.

LOL!!!! That's the same thing I tell the wife about driving her SHO, yeah it's got power, but it's not Diesel torque power. After which I just give her that man grunt sound.

I have been doing this by-myself.... Takes some time. A 2nd set of hands would be real helpful at times. The B&W under bed hitch system is no problem. The instructions cover that.

Any issues with the left side? Early kits that came out for the 2011 model year seemed to have some difficulty with the left side bracket and DEF tank mount.
