Thank you.
James, I am the same with the take it or leave it. The projectors are a nice improvement over the OE reflector head lights.

Also very happy with how the Line-X is holding up. Had this sprayed in by the dealer before I bought the truck new. Quick spray out this morning and hit with stiff bristle brush looks like new

Good to see some trucks on here actually being used as trucks for a change!
I have an 8 footer on mine but mine's a regular cab. The SC/8' that he has, particularly in the XLT trim is much more uncommon. I do have a difficult time finding accessories for mine that are specific to the body configuration. It's common among the work/fleet trucks, not often seen privately owned. I bought mine used a couple years ago it had been a work truck before I bought it and several things indicate to me that it had been run pretty hard by the previous owner.
I bought the cap last summer (used) so I could go camping with it. Compare the pics and you start to see just some of the upgrades I've made to it.
This picture was taken the day I bought it, and really shows the length. The blue one in front is the Beast's predecessor, my old 2006 8' truck that I ordered new with the 5-speed manual. The '06 was sold a few months after this was taken That was a hard workin' truck! Had a Line-X installed when it was new and it held up great, but after 10 years of hard work and daily use it had faded to a dull grey. My wife hated the blue truck because it was such a low-option model.

Always said the only things I would change about my xl would be to have back seats and power windows/doors. Had the spray-in liner practically brand new when I bought it with seven thousand miles, wore it to the bone after 100k...
Really nice to have all the goodies of the higher trim level - rear view camera, factory brake controller, info center, bluetooth, etc.
Searched for a long time to find the current truck, ended up driving about 8 hours between the test drive and bringing it home.

Couple more
Another load - 1500lb pallet of stone veneer + 10 80lb bags mortar = 2300 lbs.
Here's the truck empty:
2011 xlt 5.0 with hdpp, convenience, plus, and towing packages, carpet floor delete. Almost exactly how I would have ordered it...
Aftermarket: 3" front and rear, tow mirrors, door detents, and wheel spacers.

My 2010 in the snow. My opinion of the very last simple-ish ford half tons. SCLB, 2WD, 4.6 2v 4R75. No chrome but XLT-Equivalent interior. ive owned it since 35k, its at 125 now. Repairs: both upper balljoints, spark plugs/coils, driveshaft, and brakes. Mods: catback 3 inch w/dynomax race bullet. Ford Performance aluminum intake manifold, elbow and throttle body, homemade intake, stock maf. SCT 87 tune. Tows anything i throw at it. gets 18 mpg, and stays close to my fathers 2016 F150 2.7!
Need to mount my new AT3's soon!!

and the tire killer himself parked in front of his favorite field at sunset. After the airflow mods i did, the ol 4.6 woke up. Does it make the same power as before? roughly. but now it can use all of it, and the tune allows the trans to act like it should. Same power sure, butpulls much harder, and can light the tires up like crazy and get considerably better MPG
