2002 F250 5.4l help please
Hi there, new to forum, my truck was working fine; untill check engine light came on, and truck start misfiring and fuel pump stop working. We check fuel pump pressure there was no fuel pressure (no fuel was coming out) we used a scanner and got this codes: P1285 and P1299...
we did a computer reset and everything start working fine…run truck for ˝ hour not problem, we shut-off the truck thinking that it was fix, when I start the truck ageing about 4 hours later, same problem, temp gauge when all the way high ( check gauge was blinking for about a minutes and shut-off the truck by itself) ..Any idea what could be the problem…it been 3 days now and I just don’t know what else to do…
Can this truck been run without thermostat?
If I remove the thermostat, It runs fine without thermostat, but we put a new one from Napa same problem ageing…
I will really appreciated your help..
Thank You
I cant see the temp sensors: here is a link of pictures of the engine:

Thanks for respond, I install the new thermostat, disconnected the cylinder head temperature sensor ( only has 1 ) and the misfiring went away, runs very strong and idles very smooth, I do still have the check engine and check gauge light on, but I’m guessing it is because the sensor is disconnected.
Now A/C is not working, it only blow air, not cold air, heater works really good…, Do you guys know if the truck computer can shut-off the A/C after an overheating problem?
Thank You

Your temperature sensor is bad, must be replaced. After the replacement, clear the code, everything should be back to normal. If your A/C is still blowing hot air, check the Freon pressures on suction and discharge sides; if they're Ok, then check the A/C clutch to see if it's engaged properly; if clutch is Ok then check the blend door for broken linkage or bad actuator.
