Lifetime Van Nut now into 1990 ford vans
When I was 20 I started Van World, a ABQ van converter for 20 years. Sold the business in 1992 but have always played w vans primarily for ease of travel and camping. We've crossed the country a few times in comfort and ease.
Now I've got two 1990; an E150 swb TraTech conversion when new, never was a plumbers truck, and an E350 22 ft Chinook/Ford class B motorhome. Chinook is perfect now, getting ready for Saskatchswan in Sept. The short one came from Alamogordo NM where an old lady drove it for 100k and parked it. Coolest thing about it is its a EFI 300 cu in 6 w a C6 AT.. no overdrive. I like that actually after the in & out of hills etc w OD on these trucks.
Approaching geezer status I do keep going maintaining my old bunch of trucks, my third being a 1992 2wd Ramcharger LE. My wife wouldn't go near it for a while but not she won't let me near it. The newer stuff has no appeal for me, Transit vans are nice, but I like these 27 yrs old vans.

94 ford E350
I found my 94 E350 van/ cutaway on Facebook, got it for 1000. It needed some work but mostly cosmetic stuff. Some kids painted all over it and shot windshield with bb gun. I'm a heating and air service tech and this thing has so much room. Been working on it for about 3 months and still have alittle more to go. The van had 70,000 miles and engine runs great. I've change all the fluids, repaired manifold leak, I didn't repair body just a bunch of goof off and buffing. I've cleaned sealed and spray on bedliner the front, back bumpers the bed and the front side of tool box. I've replace front seat so I could get some arm rest, install some simulators and replace all the lights with LEDs.

I'm really enjoying repairing and updating this thing. Hard not go crazy and spend abunch of money on her. Still have stereo upgrade, a center box to hold my printer, seat covers,, ladder racks, a power inverter with outlets in first bin and outside back of truck, LED lights in the back and truck lettering.

2003 E350 Retired Medical Transport Van to Camper
When I looked at this vehicle I could see it had potential, high top was already on and conversion van windows with some movable screened glass...
Getting a closer look the engine was very well cared for and I could hardly hear it was running with the hood open! the engine oil was clean as was the trans fluid so even though it had 300k I figured 'if it can go 300,000 and run like this it must have been a good build'. We had a great summer setting up bunks in the back and camping and mountain biking with it!
When we decided we really like travelling this way and considered putting some work into it we started to really think about all the hours of building it out and whether we really wanted to put all that time and money into it (will need shocks, tires, steering/linkage work, interior amenities/furnishing, plus all the bells & whistles we wanted to add, so we still use it AS IS and are building another~! that one has only 70k on it and we will add a 16 or 20" high top for more breathing room/storage and... pics to come (if we ever get it on the road).
