Thanks guys. Yes, considering my options on their trucks. The "riveted" one (I like that) may actually be the easier of the 2 to pass inspection. Especially if I swap on the front clip from the black one. But the black one is the nicer truck and I might take the cab off it and fix it, then put the front clip back on it as a longer term project.

 

Suggestions and opinions welcomed. I really am a rookie at this.

 

Sounds good, aftermarket parts are cheap if you need to go that route

 

Got somewhat good news this morning. Asked at a local garage and found out riveted bodywork will pass inspection in NB. Wouldn't in PEI.

 

I agree, as long as there are no holes in the cab
