I'll offer up this gem: 1997 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke 4x4

Just a smidgen overpriced, I think. When all is said and done, it's still an F250 standard cab with TTB front suspension.

Hey guys newbie here. I just joined this site a day or so ago. I'm a huge craigslist guy. I basically built my truck from Craigslist. When I read the first post on this thread I was like wow! That's my buddies bronco! Funny story about that bronco is he just bought it off of ebay. He put his max bid in the wrong place and boom he owned it. Any way it was super nice but burnt up. I didn't even know he got it back from the insurance company.
Have you ever bought something off of craigslist cuase you was too scared to say no? Shoot I did.I found some obs crewcab doors once in a town 2 hrs away. Message said rust free rear doors for $100. I asked for pictures and he said they was in storage and if i was serious just come up and look. Dang. So after working a 12hr day I left work to get them in a snow strom. Took like 3hrs cuase the wheather. Meet this guy at his house and he was in a trench coat and looked all weird. I like a good trench coat don't get me wrong. He talked forever. Then I said I got a go because I had to work in the morning. No crap he takes me down in his basement and shows me these doors. Rust free yes. But his kids must have used them as sleds behind a 4 wheeler cuase they were beat flat almost. Bought them so I didn't get skinned alive or lotioned up. They now hang in my shop as a reminder.....get pics first

Nope...never bought something I didn't need or want. I've never had fear of retribution for refusing to buy, either. I'm strange...I don't have much fear of people or dogs...so Im not easily intimidated.

However, I **** my wife off, and I'm on eggshells!!

Usually take a friend along. Since most conceal carry it's a sure bet I won't buy or handle anything I don't want. Plus it is easier for two to get out of a conversation politely.

Yeah, I know everybody thinks they can get anything listed on Craigslist cheaper than what it's listed for. So I make it a point to list everything I want to sell at the price I want to sell it. Nice and easy, no haggle no stress.

Had a hard top for a TJ with a busted side window I listed for 400 or an electric guitar. Had a guy come out and look and hmm and haw on it offer 300 then 350.. Called me back up the next day with the offer of 350, said he'd never pay a full craigslist price... then he called up and offered me the 350 again two days later, and I had the satisfaction of telling him it was gone. Traded it for a Fender Strat, and man that thing can sure belt out some beautiful blues.
Was the Fender Strat worth 300? probably not, but when the guy brought it to trade, well, it just felt right and sounded beautiful. So I think I got my bargain's worth.

This is the reason why I don't sell on CR anymore. I put a guitar up (Squier Strat SE edition, highly desirable) for let's say, $200. I carefully list the condition and what's been modified. I state the price is firm, no tire kickers, lookie-loos, no lowballers. I know what they sell for and this is my price, etc., etc., yada, yada . . .

First guy that really wants it shows up, jams on the guitar for an hour. Needs every pedal I have hooked up to "Check the sound" through an effects pedal, then either offers $100 because that's all he has or says, it's not what he wanted. He really wanted something that could be used for metal, etc.

I show them the door before I get too p!ssed off.

Totally worth it! Did you guys not see the 'gold' plated frame and leaf springs? And it looks like he started to 'gold' plate the front bumper too!

As for if it is an IDI, then I highly doubt it
